Funding opportunities for Urban Mobility innovation: apply to RAPTOR 2025 open call

The RAPTOR 2025 Call for Proposals by EIT Urban Mobility, presents an opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to address real-world urban mobility challenges. This programme provides funding and a pilot platform to drive sustainable solutions in cities across Europe.
With funding of up to €40,000 per project and the chance to test your solution in partnership with a European city, the RAPTOR programme aims to transform urban mobility. The deadline for applications is 12 February 2025 at 17:00 CET.
What is RAPTOR?
The Rapid Application for Transport (RAPTOR) programme is designed to address mobility challenges quickly and effectively. By connecting cities, innovators, and SMEs, the programme provides an agile framework for testing and refining mobility solutions in real urban environments. Each participating city identifies a pressing mobility issue, and SMEs are invited to propose innovative solutions tailored to that challenge.

Main information
Funding per project: €40,000 (67.5% of total project budget)
Co-funding requirement: €19,500 (32.5% of total project budget)
Project duration: June – November 2025
Application deadline: 12 February 2025, 17:00 CET
To apply, SMEs must register on the EU Funding & Tender Portal to obtain a Participant Identification Code (PIC). This will allow to access to the application platform on the EIT Urban Mobility NetSuite system. Detailed guidance can be found in the Call Manual and the Guidelines for Applicants, both available on the official RAPTOR website.
Evaluation process
Proposals will be evaluated in two phases:
Quality evaluation: Focuses on strategic fit, excellence, impact, and implementation.
Panel hearings: Includes portfolio fit, replicability potential, and alignment with city challenges.
Final decisions will be announced in May 2025, with projects starting in June 2025.

Applications are submitted via the EIT Urban Mobility NetSuite Platform. Follow these steps:
Register on the EU Funding & Tender Portal to obtain a PIC number.
Access NetSuite: Submit the Partner Information Form (PIF) to obtain login credentials.
Apply for RAPTOR 2025: Locate the call under “Call for Proposals – Open Calls.”
