ALICE announces newly elected Board of Directors and Executive Group for 2024-2027

ALICE (Alliance for Logistics Innovation through Collaboration in Europe) is pleased to announce the results of its Executive Group elections, held during the General Assembly on 2-3 July 2024.
Newly elected members of the Executive Group
Chair of ALICE:
François-Régis Le Tourneau, Vice President Corporate Responsibility at L’Oréal For the Future, has been re-elected as Chair of ALICE.
Reflecting on his re-election, François-Régis said, “Our role in ALICE as a publisher and strong promoter of the roadmap towards zero emissions logistics is increasingly recognised. Additionally, our supply chains are facing new and additional challenges as key enablers for European competitiveness and resilience. We will need to inform and encourage the European Union to address these challenges. I am committed to driving the decarbonisation roadmap, accelerating the Physical Internet deployment, and fostering strategic alliances to effectively manage our growth and complexity.”
Vice-Chairs of ALICE:
Sergio Barbarino, Senior Director Research Fellow at Procter & Gamble, highlighted the importance of aligning decarbonisation with the Physical Internet concept. He remarked, “We need to reclaim the Physical Internet concept, not as a goal, but as an indispensable and innovative supply chain management tool to drive the decarbonisation transition and contribute to more resilient supply chains.”
Andrea Condotta, Public Affairs, Sustainability & Innovation Director at Gruber Logistics, expressed his vision for sustainability and innovation, stating, “I firmly believe that a different way of conceiving logistics is possible. My ambition is to promote ALICE as a key actor for the deployment of innovation and to support the creation of a collaborative logistics sector driven by sustainability.”
Board of Directors:
Paola Cossu, CEO of FIT CONSULTING, shared her enthusiasm and vision for the future of ALICE: “ALICE is my logistics family. I am committed to driving the realization of the Physical Internet to accelerate decarbonised freight transport, fostering collaboration, inclusion and digital and physical interoperability. I also want logistics to introduce motivational drivers for extending onboarding from small companies in the supply chain and realize robust governance. My next challenges are to give my contribution in reducing the gap between innovation and investors in logistics, and inspire more women to join and succeed, increasing diversity and innovation in our industry.”
Cristina Martín Lorenzo, CEO of Usyncro commented: “I am dedicated to driving innovation, sustainability, and collaboration in logistics. My focus includes the promotion of digital transformation, green logistics, and empowerment of women in the industry. Through ALICE, I aim to drive meaningful change and foster a more inclusive and resilient logistics ecosystem.”
