[Webinar] European Space Agency: calls for proposals & funding opportunities

ALICE and the European Space Agency (ESA) invite business practitioners and innovative solutions providers to join this presentation of ESA’s calls for proposals. This session will provide an overview of the strategic objectives and funding opportunities of these calls, detailing the processes and share of experience from previous beneficiaries.

ESA through the BASS (Business Applications and Space Solutions) Program supports European* companies (from start-ups to large enterprises) to develop and validate innovative and commercially sustainable applications/services in any market sector, using space technologies (e.g. satellite navigation, satellite telecommunications, satellite Earth Observation).

**European Space Agency BASS calls* that will be introduced:**

Open Call for Proposals – Feasibility Studies and Demonstration Projects (always open). Link to the call information.
Space for Intermodal Transport (opening 17/02/2025). Link to the call information.

1. Introduction of ESA Business Applications and Space Solutions (BASS): strategic objectives, funding opportunities & calls for proposals

Transport of dangerous goods (Ovinto, Samoloop)
Traffic Management (Valerann, ITS Equant)
Ports/maritime logistics (Bluepulse, Maritime Port Containers activity zones)

* Companies applying to ESA BASS must reside in one of the ESA BASS member states. At this stage, due to programmatic constraints, only applications from companies residing in the following countries may be supported: AT, BE, CH, CZ, DE, DK, EE, FI, FR, IE, IT, LU, NL, NO, PL, PT, RO, SE, UK. The market targeted by companies applying to ESA BASS may be anywhere in the world.
