Webinar: Open Logistics Foundation – a booster for collaborative solutions, based on open source.

Friday, August 2nd, 2024

Empowering the logistics industry with innovative and collaborative open-source solutions is the core mission of the Open Logistics Foundation (OLF). As a non-profit community, the Foundation is dedicated to driving positive and efficient changes within the logistics and supply chain sectors based on de facto standards. Their goal is to create a future where logistical operations are more efficient, connected, accessible, and sustainable.
Established in October 2021, the Foundation’s primary objective is to facilitate the collaborative development of open-source solutions for existing problems in logistics and supply chain management. In 2023, the Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding with ALICE to jointly promote the adoption of collaborative open-source solutions in logistics and supply chain management (SCM). In this context, the workshop aims to explore how the OLF can benefit ALICE members and the implications of open-source solutions in logistics. It seeks to understand the interests of ALICE members in the various initiatives led by the Foundation.
Andreas will provide an overview of the current topics and specific discussions and developments. From eCMR and Track & Trace to Sustainability, Digital Air Cargo, and Customs, OLF partners are actively working together to transform the industry. Stay curious and engage in these discussions!
